Barack Obama is asking brides to accept campaign donations for the Obama Election Campaign in lieu of wedding gifts for themselves and their spouses. What a guy! A true romantic.

This is the best example yet of how his mind works. And it is frightening. Everything, even the most special day in the lives of millions of Americans, he believes should be subordinated to his needs and wants. Is nothing sacred?

Actually don't ask. And, please don't let him watch Braveheart again. Especially the part when Edward the Longshanks grants "Prima Nocta" to his lords.

Pelosi: Obama should unilaterally eliminate the debt ceiling | WashingtonExaminer.com:

Nancy Pelosi is blocking for the next Obama power grab. And, she loves it. You can hear that in the coyness of the last question she leaves dangling in the wind as quoted below.

 “I think he should [declare the debt ceiling unconstitutional],” Pelosi said, though she wouldn’t predict Obama’s move. “I’m in a different branch of government. In the minority, in the House. What do I know about what the president’s going to do?”

Obama is planning to side-step Congress again and unilaterally blow open the debt ceiling.  He has no choice. Without money to service his voters, he has nothing. He doesn't know how to negotiate with the Republicans and they don't trust him. Obama has no leadership skills and no use for Congress and the restraints of the Constitution. 

This move to once again make an end run around Congress is Obama's admission of failure. Anyone can govern without opposition. Mrs. Pelosi is right, he is much better at "declaring" than governing.

Usually we call those who "declare" dictators, and spend our national treasurer to overthrow them. It takes political skill to bring parties together for the common good. Playing Dictator is much easier until you are overthrown. Let's hope that happens in November.

Pelosi knows. She just threw down the gauntlet.

Is it just me or do Obama supporters actually expend more effort denying facts that are provably true than they spend promoting plans and policies for good governance that are not. The most recent example of a fact they deny is outlined in this excellent article in National Review Online and quoted below:

 The party’s official “statement of principles,” which candidates seeking endorsement from the Chicago chapter were asked to support, called for a “peaceful revolution” and included redistributive proposals substantially to the left of the Democratic party.

Thank God there was a man Valerie Jarrett was in the room or this could have gotten ugly. Slaps all around. I hope she didn't hurt them.

So apparently the Attorney General of the United States, is screaming at the President's political hack for trying to insert political types into the operations of the Department of Justice. Damn, everyone knows it's Holder's job to play politics at the Department of Injustice. After all, he has so many red states to sue before he sleeps.  I guess he was mad.

But why was the Attorney General meeting with the President's political people anyway? Isn't the job of the Attorney General to protect all the people, not just the democrat Americans? It used to be.

Now, if there is video of this and I bet there is, this could be the greatest fund raising device "evah"! Can you imagine how many people would pay good money to see this cat fight in the White House.

This president has some great people around him for making a sitcom or soap opera.

Eric Holder needs to resign. He is in way over his head.

Thank goodness Joe Biden was put out to pasture this week because between Princess Pants on Fire and President Obama it is difficult keeping up with the fodder they keep spewing out. Between Obama slipping in the little secret about his sons and his insulting the people of Poland and still finding the time to confuse the NCAA with the NAACP during a ceremony at the White House. That was the same event at the White House where President Obama presented the Medal of Freedom to an avowed socialist. Things are hopping.

And who would have guessed that they keep the vital statistic of the number of nursing mothers that take the bar exam in New Jersey. Have to admit a weird curiosity about how they gather this data. Had I been familiar with this interesting data category, my first guess would have been that Elizabeth Warren was right up near the front of the line. What a talented Indian princess.

This poor lady needs a break. But it doesn't look like one is coming very soon. Both the Breitbart people and the Boston Herald smell blood. They are having so much fun that the Boston Globe is even testing the waters. And recently a large association of Native Americans have banded together and are beginning to exert some real pressure on behalf of the Cherokee Nation.

Give Ms Warren credit, she is staying on message without offering any proof. It takes a certain amount of moxie to pull this off on a daily basis. The problem with this tactic is that nobody, not even her allies, believe her any longer.

This is incredible. Dolores Huerta, Medal of Freedom Honoree. Yep, this woman who freely admits being a devoted socialist and admirer of Hugo Chavez is Barack Obama's idea of a person deserving of the Medal of Freedom.

Are socialists big on freedom?  I bet she was in attendance in 1998 when Obama was one of the featured speakers at the Democratic Socialists of America rally.

Now, don't go using the information in the Gateway Pundit article to accuse President Obama of being a Socialist. Just because he was a featured speaker at the Democrat Socialists of America rally in 1996 is no reason to smear his reputation. And, his message at that meeting was redistribution of wealth, not socialism. But it does help to understand who President Obama is today from his real history. Where was this information in 2008? Must have been hidden in the same shoe box as his Choom stash.

At this event Obama opined that state governments have a role in the allocation of wages and jobs. Cool. I didn't know that. So those who have accused him of giving too much power to the federal government might need to adjust their thinking to a sharing of that responsibility between state and federal control of our lives. I feel much better knowing this little factoid.

Maybe this is what Obama means when he talks about community organizing. He gets to organize our communities. Which I must admit, is a phrase I had never before Barack Obama began his run to the Presidency.

Must be a Chicago thing. Can you get a degree in that field? This field of study must be where Obama learned to rewrite the history of contract law to wipe out bond holders at the whim of a President trying to protect labor unions. Property rights/smoperty rights who really believed in that hogwash anyway. Bondholders are devils.

So the next time you hear someone accuse the President of being a Socialist, just remember he speaks at their meetings, supports their goals and is supported by their leaders, but he is really just a redistributionalist, not a Socialist.

This is not good news for Republicans. Joe Biden is our greatest asset when he is allowed to speak into a microphone. Surviving this drought is going to be difficult. An entire week without a single gaffe from Joe is similar to the feeling experienced during the second week after you quit smoking. A week of constantly feeling unsatisfied and expecting complete failure at any moment. Having been through it, I remember how tough it was.

Some suggest this week long trip home might have been arranged to allow Joe some quiet time to consider doing the honorable thing and withdrawing from the Obama ticket for a second term. We can't let that happen.

Or maybe he is going home as any good landlord would do from time to time, to inspect his property and make sure his rent paying tenants, The Secret Service, are not misbehaving while "the cat's away". They do have a reputation you know.

People, it might be time to rally for Joe. This week should be spent encouraging Joe to stay the course. We need him. To hell with the polls. Run Joe Run! Run Joe Run!

It appears that the one thing that Obama is good at is rewarding his supporters with taxpayer money. Who said Obama doesn't understand business, look at the rate of return his guys made from their investment in the Obama Presidency. An investment of $457,834 returned $11.35 billion dollars.

 [A]s Hoover Institution scholar Peter Schweizer reported in his book, “Throw Them All Out,” fully 71 percent of the Obama Energy Department’s grants and loans went to “individuals who were bundlers, members of Obama’s National Finance Committee, or large donors to the Democratic Party.” Collectively, these Obama cronies raised $457,834 for his campaign, and they were in turn approved for grants or loans of nearly $11.35 billion. Obama said this week it’s not the president’s job “to make a lot of money for investors.” Well, he sure seems to have made a lot of (taxpayer) money for investors in his political machine.

President Obama is really trying to win over those abortion-hating mackerel snappers. Just read this to see how far he will go.

Anyway, here is a quote that is classic Obama, pandering when he feels like he has created a mess that needs cleaning up.

 "When I was a young community organizer, I was working with Catholic churches and they taught me that no government program can make as much of a difference as kindness and commitment on the part of neighbors and friends,” he said at a Colorado fundraiser earlier that day.

Obama should do a quick review of his policies and actions in office before he doubles down on this line of pandering. His actions and policies show no respect for the Catholics in this country. As a Catholic, I need a bath to wash this smell off. Insulting and disrespectful.

Apparently he rejected the lessons of the Church he recalls in this quote. The man has spent his whole presidency trying to prove that statement wrong.  His sole focus has been to increase the numbers of people dependent upon the government to further cement the death grip that the democrats have on the under-served of this country. In particular, the lemming-like following of the Democrats by 90% or more of the African American voters. One day, they will figure out how much the democrats are using this block vote for selfish reasons. Then, the African American vote will have some power. Until then, they are being taken for granted by the Democrats.

Now, when will he embrace an discuss his past and continuing relationship with terrorists Bill Ayers and his lovely wife?

What the liberal media is really hoping to find is evidence of the horses being transported on top of the family station wagon. That would be great.

Apparently it is a crime against mankind and the LA Times for a wealthy family to spend their own money on a hobby they believe helps Ann Romney deal with a terrible malady. Sinner, sinner chicken dinner!

Funny, I don't remember the LA Times doing stories critical of John Kerry spending his wife's fortune.

Apparently there is a tribe of the Cherokee Nation that has only two living members to perpetuate the bloodline. Those remaining are Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, via Harvard Law and Barack Hussein Obama of Hawaii, via Kenya and Indonesia, and of course Harvard Law.

As Obama writes in his book, Dreams From My Father, and quoted from Breitbart.com below, again President Obama is the source for all that is mysterious about his past.

If asked, Toot [Obama’s maternal grandmother, Madelyne Payne Dunham] would turn her head in profile to show off her beaked nose, which, along with a pair of jet-black eyes, was offered as proof of Cherokee blood.

But an old, sepia toned photograph on the bookshelf spoke most eloquently of their [grandparents Stanley and Madelyne Dunham’s] roots.  It showed Toot’s grandparents, of Scottish and English stock, standing in front of a ramshackle homestead, unsmiling and dressed in coarse wool, their eyes squinting at the sun baked flinty life that stretched before them…in their eyes one could see truths that I would have to learn later as facts…that while one of my great-great grandfathers, Christopher Columbus Clark, had been a decorated Union soldier, his wife’s mother was rumored to have been a second cousin of Jefferson Davis…that although another distant ancestor had indeed been a full-blooded Cherokee, such lineage was a source of shame to Toot’s mother [Leona McCurry Payne] who blanched whenever someone mentioned the subject and hoped to carry the secret to her grave.

Barack Obama should be called the melting pot. He represents himself having bloodlines from the red Johnny Reb blood to Union Blue blue blood to deep scarlet Cherokee blood and even threw in a little mention of Christopher Columbus and several of the British Isles. How did he miss a George Washington cell or two?

 It is a unique and rare duty and responsibility to perpetuate the endangered tribe.

And, this should be fodder for the curious minds of investigative journalists. Go get 'em.

After spending the best part of four years not looking into Barack Obama, his past, his academic and professional accomplishments or lack thereof, why start now and ruin every myth they worked so hard to perpetuate upon the uneducated and unwashed of this great land. Meaning, all of us who are not one of them.

Whence they finish the high school years of Mitt Romney and the horse barn fodder of his wife, they certainly can move on to grade school and kindergarten before looking toward the President and his past.

It is becoming more and more obvious that Brietbart.com has information yet not yet published and will drip it out throughout this year and the election cycle. It is going to be interesting.

Don't underestimate Breitbart.com. These are very talented and devoted people. They are not dropping these bits of bread along a trail for no reason. They are much smarter and much more committed than the left understands. Hold on, this is going somewhere. And it is going to be fun. They are going to make Andrew Breitbart's legacy proud and respected.

‘Born in Kenya': Obama's literary agent misidentified his birthplace in 1991 - ABC News

The explanation being offered for the Kenyan birth reference is explained here:

Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.
"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me--an agency assistant at the time," Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."

Let's think this through. Dystel and Goderich was engaged by Barack Obama as his literary agent. Obama was writing a book they intended to promote and were preparing materials to do so. Part of the promotional material for the book is a biography of the author.

It seems reasonable that the author would provide the agency with biographical data for the summary. And clients generally review these bios in draft form for accuracy. Miriam Goderich says she made edits to his biography and "misidentified" his place of birth as Kenya. This "clerical error" stayed in print and on their website unchallenged until 2007.

But, as more information drips out, it looks like this same error happened more often than just this single incident. Maybe Dystel and Goderich could just release all the original documentation and extinguish this firestorm. 

There seems to be intrigue everywhere in President Obama's biography, regardless of where you believe he was born. This is far from over.

From listening to several of the Breitbart writers on the radio, it sounded like they have additional information that will be released as they deem most effective.

The real grist in this story may end up being less about where Barack Obama was born, and more about where he represented himself being born as a young man and more importantly, why? 

Drip, drip, drip.

Obama Inserts Himself in White House Bios of Past Presidents

Why would any President, even one as self-impressed as Obama, allow his persona to be inserted into the biographies of our past Presidents? That thought bothered me all day yesterday.

After sleeping on it last night, it is obvious to me that there are only two viable possibilities.

First, someone at the White House or in the Obama re-election campaign watched Forrest Gump one too many times over the weekend and just felt a calling.  Or, this is the beginning of a stealth campaign to keep up with the real or imagined exploits of Vladimir Putin. 
 
If you think the Forrest Gump scenario more viable, consider where that could lead. We could see a short video clip of Obama raising the flag at Iwo Jima or sprinting to a Gold Medal at the Olympics a la Jessie Owens or being sworn in as President of the United States. Or even more scary, playing in the Lt. Dan Band.

On the other hand, if you buy the Putin fantasy, just imagine how much fun that video could be. Remember that beach body  they created for Obama during the campaign? Perfect pecs. Just imagine him rescuing relics from the sea and flying helicopters. Lions, and tigers and bears, oh my! This scenario seems more likely.

If the Forrest Gump idea prevails, please omit the scene where Forrest (Obama) reveals his buttocks wound to some unfortunate future President.

As described in the Daily Caller | KausFiles today and quoted below, another close friend and associate of Barack Obama, maybe his closest friend, was "randomly" selected from a large pool of applicants for a huge government grant. It is amazing how random is defined by this administration.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded a $5.9 million grant to a University of Chicago Medical Center program run by one of President Barack Obama’s closest friends.

Obama’s longtime friend, Eric Whitaker, runs the Urban Health Initiative (UHI), which was founded as a means of connecting low-income patients with health clinics in their own communities.

The UHI was one of only 26 programs — out of 3,000 applications — to receive a slice of the $1 billion in taxpayer money from the executive’s “We Can’t Wait” initiative, which is aimed at spurring job growth via executive action, reported Keith Koffler at White House Dossier.

I wonder how many of the disappointed 2,974 applicants visited the White House, played golf with the President, have flown on Air Force One or bundled large sums of campaign funds on his behalf. This would be a great project for an enterprising reporter to delve into how many of the "random 26" have some connection to the administration? Just curious. Random thought.

It seems that if you are a regular visitor to the White House, a large dollar bundler for the re-election campaign or play golf with the President it boosts your "randomness odds" tremendously.  An amazing number of people close to this President have received grants, loans and other largesse. History will not be kind in this regard.

Charlotte-The Dems kind of town

The Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina is going to be great. Divine intervention must have inspired Debbie Whatshername Schultz and the DNC to make this selection. What a great choice. She is such a uniter, just like the President.

North Carolina will welcome the Democrat party of Bev Perdue, gay marriage, tax, spend and organize with open arms. I bet the stock car and right-to-work crowd loves it. The NLRB could allow future Boeing workers in South Carolina to cross state lines and join in the festivities. That would be fun.
 
The irony of the 99%ers crammed into the Bank of America Stadium is just too good to be true. And Lloyd Blankfein, Jon Corzine and Jamie Dimon could make cameo appearances to get the crowds fired up. Down with big banks, right! Maybe a drum circle.

So the 99%ers hope to convince the 61% of North Carolinian's who just voted against gay marriage to convert before they arrive this summer. Bringing in out-of-state union employees to replace local non-union service workers should help smooth this over as well. Genius.

Tough deal this convention, but Debbie loves a challenge.

Heads up Washington Post, Barack Obama wrote about things he did in his early years that beg for objective reporting. If that isn't teed up for a great news organization like the Washington Post, what is?

Among things self-admitted by Obama that are begging for sunshine are his use of and love for illegal drugs, his hidden health records, his previous and ongoing associations with some pretty interesting people and his "no where to be found" grades, transcripts, thesis, and education financing details.

Sure, the Washington Post can round up more sources who admit they were not there to produce a great article about Mitt Romney but can they do some real investigative reporting on our President and his youthful indiscretions.
