Had George W. Bush made an error similar in scope to this one, it would have been the lead story on every newscast for a month. Had he then been so unfortunate to have made it a second time, the media would have run him out of town on a rail. Remember, all Dan Quayle had to do was misspell "potato" to create a story that remains infamous in liberal circles today. The liberal media destroyed the man over an added "e". But not a peep from the liberal media when President Obama made the far more egregious error of mentioning his sons, who don't exist; kind of like his college transcripts.
Who knew he had sons? What a sly devil. This could only have happened to someone reading a teleprompter and not speaking his own thoughts. That is not acceptable behavior for the leader of the free world. It is lazy, shallow and uncaring.
It would be interesting to discover who writes the scripts that are loaded into the teleprompter for the President to read. Because that person is acting in many ways as the de factor President. Obama has skills as a newsreader, but he has never demonstrated skills as a leader.
