Why Did Obama Expose The White House?

Voters Disapprove of Obama Blocking Release of Fast & Furious Docs

As noted in Breitbart.com and particularly as quoted below from that article, there is a stench hanging over the Fast and Furious mess. It feels unfinished and unresolved, and it is. Voters do not believe that this should just "go away" as the DOJ and the White House are hoping.
The Hill Poll found that likely voters disapproved by an almost 2-to-1 margin of Obama’s assertion of presidential power in the case. Overall, 56 percent of voters disapproved of his action, while only 29 percent approved. …
Sixty-one percent of independents said they disapproved of the president’s actions, and just 25 percent approved. Among Republicans, opposition to the president’s use of executive privilege was more entrenched at 78 percent.
Even 28 percent of Democrats, and 30 percent of self-identified liberals disapproved of Obama’s position.

What is bothersome and nagging and won't go away is this very simple question, "What could be so damaging that it would cause the President to invoke executive privilege?" If this problem, whatever it is, is an issue that is contained in the DOJ or ATF or DEA, or even the Bush Administration, then Obama would lop off the appropriate heads and take credit for the cure. Even if that cure meant jettisoning Eric Holder, Obama would protect himself. Apparently, he cannot.

The other question that needs to be answered and should be simple to do is, "Who approved this program?" If that information can't be produced within an hour, the DOJ should be shut down as an incompetent organization operating without any internal controls.

What are the chances that the political arm of the White House was way too involved? Just a thought.

Talk About A Fund Raising Opportunity

War in the White House: attorney general Eric Holder and top Obama adviser David Axelrod 'had to be separated' - Telegraph

Thank God there was a man Valerie Jarrett was in the room or this could have gotten ugly. Slaps all around. I hope she didn't hurt them.

So apparently the Attorney General of the United States, is screaming at the President's political hack for trying to insert political types into the operations of the Department of Justice. Damn, everyone knows it's Holder's job to play politics at the Department of Injustice. After all, he has so many red states to sue before he sleeps.  I guess he was mad.

But why was the Attorney General meeting with the President's political people anyway? Isn't the job of the Attorney General to protect all the people, not just the democrat Americans? It used to be.

Now, if there is video of this and I bet there is, this could be the greatest fund raising device "evah"! Can you imagine how many people would pay good money to see this cat fight in the White House.

This president has some great people around him for making a sitcom or soap opera.

Eric Holder needs to resign. He is in way over his head.

Which Way Do We Go?

Number of the Week: Half of U.S. Lives in Household Getting Benefits - Real Time Economics - WSJ

Now that half of the country is dependent upon the government for survival, the country has reached a tipping point. This did not happen by accident. The radical left planned the welfare state. It is they believe, a better model. A model where the masses depend on them in Washington for their every need. That is the leverage liberals need to maintain control. Control the voters through government largess and they become your permanent dependents and voters. This is the beginning of the ultimate destruction of the United States from within as communists have pursued for years.

Is Random Predictable?

KausFiles | The Daily Caller

As described in the Daily Caller | KausFiles today and quoted below, another close friend and associate of Barack Obama, maybe his closest friend, was "randomly" selected from a large pool of applicants for a huge government grant. It is amazing how random is defined by this administration.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded a $5.9 million grant to a University of Chicago Medical Center program run by one of President Barack Obama’s closest friends.
Obama’s longtime friend, Eric Whitaker, runs the Urban Health Initiative (UHI), which was founded as a means of connecting low-income patients with health clinics in their own communities.
The UHI was one of only 26 programs — out of 3,000 applications — to receive a slice of the $1 billion in taxpayer money from the executive’s “We Can’t Wait” initiative, which is aimed at spurring job growth via executive action, reported Keith Koffler at White House Dossier.

I wonder how many of the disappointed 2,974 applicants visited the White House, played golf with the President, have flown on Air Force One or bundled large sums of campaign funds on his behalf. This would be a great project for an enterprising reporter to delve into how many of the "random 26" have some connection to the administration? Just curious. Random thought.

It seems that if you are a regular visitor to the White House, a large dollar bundler for the re-election campaign or play golf with the President it boosts your "randomness odds" tremendously.  An amazing number of people close to this President have received grants, loans and other largesse. History will not be kind in this regard.

AOK at DOJ?

Dismissed U.S. attorneys summary

Let me see if I understand the current situation. The DOJ is suing Texas, Alabama, Arizona, South Carolina and almost every Southern and Border state for attempting to enforce the laws of their state and the laws of the United States of America the DOJ chooses to ignore.

The DOJ has decided not to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act and many Immigration laws. You cannot enter the DOJ, US Congress, board an airplane, or even rent a library book without presenting a picture ID but the DOJ believes it is a racist plot to have voters present a photo ID to vote, which I have been doing for many years.

Today, DOJ filed suit against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, a highly decorated thirty-year law enforcement officer formerly of the Justice Department. All DOJ wants to do is take over management of Sheriff Joe's office. And, now the President has suddenly evolved into a States-Righter, but only for the purposes of covering his newly-evolved fable about gay marriage  appreciated so much in Hollywood fundraising circles. Federalism a la carte?

As of today, the DOJ can't find the time or reason to prosecute former U.S Senator and Governor Corzine for "misplacing" $1.6 Billion of his customer's money. And, Mr. Corzine continues to bundle campaign funds for President Obama. Is it a coincidence that several of the key appointees in the DOJ are from the very firms they are refusing to investigate? And, yes they were all key bundlers as well.

The IRS is harassing the Tea Party organizations while they and the DOJ are ignoring the shenanigans being perpetrated by the tax exempt organizations of the left-o-sphere.

It sure looks fast and furious at the DOJ.
